| (MINING CHILEAN) through a partnership with the Corporation for Culture and Tourism of Calama, Minera Gaby, promote a fun project to bring culture and the arts to the people of that city.
This signed an agreement with the said corporation considers the development of artistic workshops in neighborhoods and residential socioartísticas that will benefit free of charge to more than 20 towns in Calama this year. About this initiative Sergio Molina, chief of public affairs for Minera Gaby said "since 2008 Minera Gaby and Cultural Corporation have developed a work culture that has run theater festivals winter and summer, funds for the development of visual arts and a significant amount of quality mounts in the Gallery Pablo Neruda. This year we confront the challenge of innovation in culture, taking various forms of art to the same set of Calama. This will reinforce the identity and love with neighbors to his neighborhood, to give life to various art forms that they themselves develop. "
artistic training workshops will be held in the same populations include African dance workshops, building giant puppets, murals, capoeira and social photography. While socioartísticas residences, consider installed for a month in 5 selected populations, leading national and international artists who will be integrated with the community in a total immersion method, ie the same population will live in every day and share with neighbors, then together develop interventions art that can be appreciated and enjoyed by the whole community.
The initiative includes activities throughout the year and to apply for neighborhood groups can approach the office of the Corporation of Culture and Tourism of Calama. 10 neighborhoods will benefit from the first half and 10 in the second.
