The Global Compact emphasizes best practice
was published the first "Best Practices Report " successful cases comprising of 23 companies endorsing the Global Compact Network, which operates under Chile coordination of the Universidad Andrés Bello. The companies highlighted by the report are: ACHS, Aramark, Arauco, State Bank, Endesa, Masisa, Sodimac, Universidad Andrés Bello, Xstrata Copper, Entel, Essbio, Laboratorio Bago, Cementos Polpaico, PwC (Price Waterhouse), Telefonica, Universidad Austral, SN Power, VTR, Mutual Security, BCI, Chilectra, Ernst & Young and Unilever.
The activity was led by the rector of the U. Andrés Bello Pedro Uribe, the president of Chile Global Compact, Lionel Olavarria, Jorge Matetic, ACHS President and Executive Secretary of Global Compact Chile Margarita Ducci. In addition to Maria Angelica Zegers, Technical Secretary of the Ministry of Planning mixtodel background who said a company is successful if the community is successful in Mideplan which is encouraging a safety net hooked to a network of opportunities.
The development of the report is part of the project SIPP (Integrated Global Compact Principles), which seeks to disseminate the guiding principles of the United Nations organization.
